Chapter 212 Oregon Laws 2005
AN ACT
HB 5077
Relating to state financial administration; appropriating money; limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of
Oregon:
SECTION
1. Notwithstanding any other provision
of law, in addition to the amounts appropriated by section 1, chapter 726,
Oregon Laws 2003, for the biennium ending June 30, 2005, as modified by
Emergency Board action, there are appropriated out of the General Fund the
following amounts for the following purposes:
(1)
The amount specified for health services under section 1 (4), chapter 726,
Oregon Laws 2003, is increased by $64,811,151.
(2) The amount specified for seniors and people with disabilities under section 1 (5), chapter 726, Oregon Laws 2003, is increased by $12,906,889.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any other law appropriating moneys, limiting expenditures or otherwise adjusting appropriations or expenditure limitations, and in addition to any action taken by the Emergency Board, the authorized appropriations and expenditure limitations for the Department of Human Services for the biennium ending June 30, 2005, are changed by the amounts specified:

SECTION 3. This 2005 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2005 Act takes effect on its passage.
