Relating to rules adopted by Oregon Department of Administrative Services for Oregon Prescription Drug Program; creating new provisions; repealing section 8, chapter 714, Oregon Laws 2003; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. Section 8, chapter 714, Oregon Laws 2003, is repealed.

SECTION 2. In addition to the notices required under ORS 183.335 (15), the Oregon Department of Administrative Services shall give notice to the individual members of any interim or session committee with authority over the subject matter of the rule if the department proposes to adopt a rule under ORS 414.320.

SECTION 3. Section 2 of this 2005 Act applies to rules adopted by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services for the Oregon Prescription Drug Program on or after the effective date of this 2005 Act.

SECTION 4. Sections 2 and 3 of this 2005 Act are repealed on January 2, 2008.

SECTION 5. This 2005 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2005 Act takes effect on its passage.
