Chapter 697 Oregon Laws 2005
AN ACT
HB 5139
Relating to state financial administration; limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of
Oregon:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2005, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal funds, collected or received by the State Parks and Recreation Department, for the following purposes:
(1) Administration.............................. $ 14,791,132
(2) Grant programs............................ $ 8,400,269
(3) Operations..................................... $ 57,412,822
(4) Facility repair and
maintenance................................... $ 3,720,297
(5) Heritage conservation................... $ 474,214
(6) State Fair operations..................... $ 7,881,618
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2005, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from lottery moneys allocated from the Parks and Natural Resources Fund to the State Parks and Recreation Department for the following purposes:
(1) Administration.............................. $ 10,485,193
(2) Land acquisition............................ $ 7,500,000
(3) Grant programs............................ $ 8,998,751
(4) Operations..................................... $ 12,508,691
(5) Facility repair and
maintenance................................... $ 29,581,830
(6) Heritage conservation................... $ 2,959,865
(7) Debt service................................... $ 8,951,314
(8) State Fair debt service.................. $ 4,235,235
SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2005, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from federal funds collected or received by the State Parks and Recreation Department for the following purposes:
(1) Administration.............................. $ 21,450
(2) Grant programs............................ $ 3,992,326
(3) Operations..................................... $ 1,650,130
(4) Facility repair and
maintenance................................... $ 1,500,160
(5) Heritage conservation................... $ 1,800,512
SECTION 4. For the biennium beginning July 1, 2005, expenditures by the State Parks and Recreation Department from the Parks Donation Trust Fund are not limited.
SECTION 5. This 2005 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2005 Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
