Chapter 725 Oregon Laws 2005

AN ACT

SB 5610

Relating to state financial administration; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. The Oregon Department of Administrative Services shall make the following transfers from the Tobacco Settlement Funds Account for the biennium beginning July 1, 2005:

(1) To the Oregon Appropriation

Bond Fund established under

section 3, chapter 11,

Oregon Laws 2003........................ $ 86,695,855

(2) To the Department of Human

Services for expenses of

the Oregon Health Plan................ $ 24,500,000

(3) To the Tobacco Enforcement

Fund, in compliance with

ORS 293.537.................................. $ 700,000

(4) To the Oregon Health

and Science University

Bond Fund..................................... $ 31,975,150

SECTION 2. This 2005 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2005 Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
