Chapter 785 Oregon Laws 2005
AN ACT
HB 5177
Relating to state financial administration; appropriating money; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of
Oregon:
SECTION 1. In addition to and not in lieu of any other appropriation, there is appropriated to the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2005, out of the General Fund, the amount of $100,000, for the Gresham Center for the Arts.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the appropriation from the General Fund to the Department of Human Services for the biennium beginning July 1, 2005, for abstinence education programs, made by section 28, chapter 794, Oregon Laws 2005 (Enrolled House Bill 5023), is reduced by $100,000.
SECTION 3. In addition to and not in lieu of any other appropriation, there is appropriated to the Department of Human Services, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2005, out of the General Fund, the amount of $75,000, for a pilot program with Marion County related to methamphetamine.
SECTION 4. This 2005 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2005 Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
