AN ACT

HB 2797

Relating to universal access to support services; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. The Department of Human Services shall apply any savings generated by support service brokerages developed under the Staley Settlement Agreement to provide services to individuals who are awaiting adult developmental disability support services and who are not receiving any services.

SECTION 2. This 2005 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2005 Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
