                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO
                        SENATE BILL 1085

  On page 7 of the printed bill, after line 21, insert:
  ' (c) A person other than a registry identification cardholder
who has been convicted of violating ORS 475.992 (1)(a) or (b) may
not produce marijuana for a registry identification cardholder
within five years of the date of the conviction for violating ORS
475.992 (1)(a) or (b) if the conviction was for a first
offense.'.
  In line 22, delete '(c)' and insert '(d)'.
  In line 23, after 'card' insert 'or produce marijuana for a
registry identification cardholder'.
  After line 28, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 8a. + }  { + The provisions of section 8 (6) of
this 2005 Act apply only to a person convicted of a violation of
ORS 475.992 (1)(a) or (b) that occurred on or after the effective
date of this 2005 Act. + } ' .
  On page 8, restore lines 36 through 43.
  After line 43, insert:
  ' (c) Possesses or produces marijuana only in amounts permitted
under section 9 of this 2005 Act.'.
  On page 9, restore lines 3 through 5.
  In line 6, restore '(3)'.
  Restore lines 13 through 18.
  In lines 21 through 23, restore the bracketed material.
