Chapter 259 Oregon Laws 2007

 

AN ACT

Relating to financial administration of the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists; limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.

 

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

 

          SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the amount of $637,338 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2007, as the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal funds, collected or received by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.

 

          SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures of the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists for the payment of expenses of the board from fees, moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal funds, for the biennium ending June 30, 2007, the limitation on expenditures for the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists established by section 1, chapter 329, Oregon Laws 2005, as modified by Emergency Board action, is increased by $100,000.

 

          SECTION 3. This 2007 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2007 Act takes effect on its passage.
