Chapter 417 Oregon Laws 2007

 

AN ACT

 

HB 3067

 

Relating to allocations to counties; and declaring an emergency.

 

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

 

          SECTION 1. (1) If the Department of Human Services uses a formula for allocating to counties moneys described in subsection (3) of this section, and if the formula includes population as a factor in determining the amount of each allocation, the department shall calculate the formula annually using the most current population data that is available.

          (2) The department shall use as the source of the population data required by subsection (1) of this section the primary population research center that is part of the Oregon University System.

          (3) Subsection (1) of this section applies to moneys allocated to counties for community mental health and addiction services.

 

          SECTION 2. This 2007 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2007 Act takes effect on its passage.
