Chapter 729 Oregon Laws 2007

 

AN ACT

 

SB 5530

 

Relating to financial administration of the State Parks and Recreation Department; limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.

 

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

 

          SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2007, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal funds, collected or received by the State Parks and Recreation Department, for the following purposes:

 

      (1)    Administration......................................     $ 14,029,954

      (2)    Grant programs....................................     $ 11,266,913

      (3)    Operations.............................................     $ 63,472,259

      (4)    Facility repair and

              maintenance..........................................     $  3,838,902

      (5)    Heritage conservation...........................     $     547,893

      (6)    Oregon State Fair operations..............     $ 10,598,392

      (7)    Recreation programs and

              planning.................................................     $  3,183,808

 

          SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2007, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from lottery moneys allocated from the Parks and Natural Resources Fund to the State Parks and Recreation Department for the following purposes:

 

      (1)    Administration......................................     $ 10,117,713

      (2)    Land acquisition...................................     $ 22,139,224

      (3)    Grant programs....................................     $ 15,785,682

      (4)    Operations.............................................     $ 11,754,979

      (5)    Facility repair and

              maintenance..........................................     $ 24,563,998

      (6)    Heritage conservation...........................     $  3,381,952

      (7)    Oregon State Fair operations..............     $  3,510,848

      (8)    Oregon State Fair debt

              service....................................................     $  4,235,070

      (9)    Recreation programs and

              planning.................................................     $  3,292,595

 

          SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2007, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from federal funds collected or received by the State Parks and Recreation Department for the following purposes:

 

      (1)    Administration......................................     $            993

      (2)    Grant programs....................................     $  3,183,655

      (3)    Operations.............................................     $  1,387,437

      (4)    Facility repair and

              maintenance..........................................     $  1,546,665

      (5)    Heritage conservation...........................     $  1,988,024

 

          SECTION 4. This 2007 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2007 Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
