                             AN ACT
 
 
Relating to delegation of agency authority to issue orders.
 
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
 
  SECTION 1.  { + Section 2 of this 2007 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS chapter 183. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + Unless otherwise provided by law, an agency may
delegate authority to enter a final order in a proceeding or
class of proceedings to an officer or employee of the agency, or
to a class of officers or employees of the agency. A delegation
of authority under this section must be made in writing before
the issuance of any order pursuant to the delegation and must be
retained in the agency's records. + }
