  On page 2 of the printed bill, delete lines 13 through 15 and
insert:
  ' (2) The provisions of ORS 725.600 to 725.625 do not affect
any right a lender may have to recover expenses associated with
the collection of a defaulted loan in amounts authorized by
law.'.
  On page 3, delete lines 7 through 9 and insert:
  ' (3) The provisions of ORS 725.600 to 725.625 do not affect
any right a lender may have to recover expenses associated with
the collection of a defaulted loan in amounts authorized by
law.'.
  In line 10, after '(1)' delete 'A person is subject to ORS
725.600 to 725.625' and insert 'Notwithstanding ORS 725.370, a
person that makes a payday loan or title loan is subject to ORS
chapter 725'.
  In line 44, delete 'two' and insert '10'.
  On page 4, line 17, delete 'required'.
  In line 18, delete 'a license' and insert 'was required to be
licensed'.
  In line 23, delete 'Section 4' and insert 'Sections 4 and 6'.
  In line 26, delete 'Sections 5 and 6' and insert 'Section 5'.
  In line 39, delete 'Section 4' and insert 'Sections 4 and 6'.
  In line 41, delete 'Sections 5 and 6' and insert 'Section 5'.
