  On page 1 of the printed bill, line 9, delete 'instrument is
issued' and insert 'employee lives or works'.
  Delete lines 20 through 30 and insert:
  ' (4) An employer and an employee may agree that the employer
may pay wages through a direct deposit system, automated teller
machine card, payroll card or other means of electronic transfer
if the employee may:
  ' (a) Make an initial withdrawal of the entire amount of net
pay without cost to the employee; or
  ' (b) Choose to use another means of payment of wages that
involves no cost to the employee.'.
  On page 2, delete lines 1 through 3.
  In line 4, delete '(c)' and insert '(5)' and delete ' paragraph
(a) of this subsection' and insert 'subsection (4) of this
section'.
