  Designates Columbia Gorge Discovery Center as Oregon Ice Age
Museum.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to the Oregon Ice Age Museum at the Columbia Gorge
  Discovery Center in The Dalles.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center is
designated the Oregon Ice Age Museum. The activities of the
center pertaining to its function as the Oregon Ice Age Museum
may include:
  (1) Extending and improving public access to state and
privately owned collections of historical, geological,
informational or technical interest relating to the Ice Age and
any other Ice Age items or collection of Ice Age items that may
be acquired in the future;
  (2) Educating the public regarding Oregon's Ice Age history,
geology, landscape, flora and fauna; and
  (3) Mounting special Ice Age exhibitions from time to time. + }
