  On page 1 of the printed A-engrossed bill, line 2, after the
semicolon insert 'appropriating money;'.
  On page 2, after line 3, insert:
  ' (5) Oregon forests play a significant role in sequestering
atmospheric carbon, and losing this potential to sequester carbon
will have a significant negative effect on the reduction of
carbon levels in the atmosphere.'.
  In line 4, delete '(5)' and insert '(6)'.
  In line 8, delete '(6)' and insert '(7)'.
  In line 13, delete '(7)' and insert '(8)'.
  In line 21, delete '(8)' and insert '(9)'.
  In line 25, delete '(9)' and insert '(10)'.
  In line 28, delete '(10)' and insert '(11)'.
  On page 5, after line 39, insert:
  ' (i) The carbon sequestration potential of Oregon's forests,
alternative methods of forest management that can increase carbon
sequestration and reduce the loss of carbon sequestration to
wildfire, changes in the mortality and distribution of tree and
other plant species and the extent to which carbon is stored in
tree-based building materials;'.
  In line 40, delete '(i)' and insert '(j)'.
  In line 42, delete '(j)' and insert '(k)'.
  In line 43, delete '(k)' and insert '(L)'.
  On page 6, after line 42, insert:
