  On page 3 of the printed bill, after line 4, insert:
  ' (7) The department shall streamline the application process
in order to increase enrollment in the Oregon Healthy Kids
Program, as described in section 1 (3) of this 2007 Act, by:
  ' (a) Eliminating administrative barriers to submitting an
application;
  ' (b) Reducing unnecessary paperwork;
  ' (c) Providing outstationed application sites;
  ' (d) Providing enrollment assistance as needed; and
  ' (e) Taking other steps the department deems necessary to
maximize enrollment in the program.'.
  In line 5, delete '(7)' and insert '(8)'.
  On page 4, after line 23, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 10a. + }  { + The Administrator of the Office
for Oregon Health Policy and Research shall:
  ' (1) Evaluate the feasibility, in every geographic region of
this state, of expanding the number and capacity of school-based
health centers, community health centers or safety net clinics to
provide primary care services to all children under 19 years of
age within a school district or a center or clinic service area;
  ' (2) Estimate the cost of the expansion described in this
section; and
  ' (3) Report the findings of the evaluation and the estimated
cost to the regular session of the Seventy-fifth Legislative
Assembly. + } ' .
