  Appropriates moneys from General Fund to Department of Justice
for biennial expenses of district attorneys.
  Declares emergency, effective July 1, 2007.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to financial administration of the Department of
  Justice; appropriating money; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + There is appropriated to the Department of
Justice, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2007, out of the
General Fund, the amount of $10,658,236 to be expended for:
  (1) Paying the expenses of district attorneys; and
  (2) Paying the expenses incurred in administering subsection
(1) of this section. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + This 2007 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2007 Act takes effect July 1,
2007. + }
