                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO
                    HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 15

  Delete lines 2 through 12 of the printed joint resolution.
  Delete lines 14 through 19 and insert:
  '  { +  PARAGRAPH 1. + } The Constitution of the State of
Oregon is amended by creating a new section 11k to be added to
and made a part of Article XI, such section to read:
  '  { +  SECTION 11k. + }  { + Notwithstanding subsection (8) of
section 11 of this Article, subsection (8) of section 11 of this
Article does not apply to any measure voted on in an election
held in May or November of any year. + }
 
  '  { +  PARAGRAPH 2. + }  { + The amendment proposed by this
resolution shall be submitted to the people for their approval or
rejection at the next regular general election held throughout
this state. + } ' .
