  On page 2 of the printed bill, line 8, after 'not' insert ' :
  ' (a)'.
  In line 10, delete the period and insert '; or
  ' (b) Collect or use Social Security numbers in the electronic
prescription drug database.'.
  In line 20, after 'authorized' insert 'drug-related'.
  After line 42, insert:
  ' (8) Nothing in this section requires a pharmacist or a
practitioner who prescribes a controlled substance to obtain
information about a patient from the database established under
section 3 of this 2007 Act. A pharmacist or a practitioner who
prescribes a controlled substance may not be held liable for
damages in any civil action on the basis that the pharmacist or
practitioner did or did not request or obtain information from
the database.'.
  On page 3, line 11, delete '13' and insert '14'.
  In line 24, delete 'and'.
  In line 25, after the semicolon insert 'and
  ' (L) Oregon Optometric Physicians Association;'.
  On page 4, line 15, delete 'Four' and insert 'Five'.
