                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO
                         SENATE BILL 181

  After line 2 of the printed bill, insert:
  ' Whereas it is good policy that the tobacco tax task force be
funded for at least eight years; and
  ' Whereas it would be beneficial for the continuation and
enhancement of the important work of the task force that the
sunset of the funding provisions of this 2007 Act be extended by
four years after each quadrennial report of the task force to the
Legislative Assembly; now, therefore,'.
  After line 19, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 5. + }  { + Sections 2 and 4 of this 2007 Act
apply to calendar years beginning on or after January 1, 2008,
and ending before January 1, 2016. + }
  '  { +  SECTION 6. + }  { + The Oregon State Police and the
Department of Justice shall report in the manner provided by ORS
192.245 to the Seventy-sixth Legislative Assembly no later than
February 1, 2011.  The report shall detail the performance of the
agencies in the administration and enforcement of ORS 323.005 to
323.482 and 323.500 to 323.645 in the 2007-2009 and 2009-2011
biennia. + } ' .
