Extends statute of limitations from 10 years to 12 years for
action for recovery of real property or for recovery of
possession of real property.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to statute of limitations; creating new provisions; and
amending ORS 12.050.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. ORS 12.050 is amended to read:
12.050. An action for the recovery of real property, or for the
recovery of the possession thereof, shall be commenced within
{ - 10 - } { + 12 + } years. { - No - } { + An + } action
{ - shall - } { + may not + } be { + + }maintained for such
recovery unless it { - appear - } { + appears + } that the
plaintiff, an ancestor, { + a + }predecessor { - , - } or
