                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO
                         SENATE BILL 623

  On page 1 of the printed bill, delete lines 13 through 17 and
insert:
  ' (2) A dwelling provided by a religious organization for the
spiritual leader of the religious organization, and the lot on
which the dwelling is located. An exemption under this subsection
may not exceed $150,000 of the assessed value of the
dwelling. Property described in this subsection is not exempt
from taxation if:
  ' (a) The religious organization or occupant of the dwelling
receives pay for use of the property, unless the pay is for
foster care provided in the dwelling; or
  ' (b) The spiritual leader of the religious organization
occupies another residence as the primary dwelling of the
spiritual leader.'.
