  Requires Department of Environmental Quality to provide
full-time equivalent employee to work on ballast water reporting
and regulation matters.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to ballast water.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + Section 2 of this 2007 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS 783.625 to 783.640. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + The Department of Environmental Quality shall
employ at least one full-time equivalent employee for ballast
water reporting and regulation matters under ORS 783.625 to
783.640, who shall serve under the direction of the Director of
the Department of Environmental Quality. + }
