  Authorizes persons engaged in lawful activity to stand ground
and use force in self-defense.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to self-defense.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + Section 2 of this 2007 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS 161.190 to 161.275. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + A person has no duty to retreat and may stand
the person's ground and meet force with force, including deadly
physical force, if:
  (1) The person is not engaged in an unlawful activity; and
  (2) The use of force is otherwise justified by ORS 161.209 or
161.219. + }
