  Directs Department of Transportation to establish program to
issue share the road registration plates.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to share the road registration plate.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + Section 2 of this 2007 Act is added to and made
a part of the Oregon Vehicle Code. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + The Department of Transportation shall
establish a share the road registration plate program to issue
registration plates called 'share the road registration plates'
upon request to owners of motor vehicles registered under ORS
803.420 (1), (9)(a) or (16)(c) or (d) to observe the importance
of sharing the roadway with bicyclists. + }
