or other revenues allocated to Parks and Natural Resources Fund

A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to financial administration of the Department of State
Police; appropriating money; limiting expenditures; and
declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + There are appropriated to the Department of
State Police, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2007, out of the
General Fund, the following amounts for the following

SECTION 4. { + Notwithstanding any other law limiting
expenditures, and notwithstanding ORS 541.377 (7), the amount of
$6,936,155 is established for the biennium beginning July 1,
2007, as the maximum limit for payment of expenses by the
Department of State Police for fish and wildlife enforcement
activities from moneys or other revenues allocated to the Parks
and Natural Resources Fund and from lottery funds made available
to the Parks and Natural Resources Fund under section 4 (10),
Article XV of the Oregon Constitution. + }
SECTION 5. { + Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the
authorized appropriations and expenditure limitations for the
biennium ending June 30, 2007, for the Department of State Police
are changed by the amounts specified:
(1) The General Fund appropriation for patrol services,
criminal investigations and gaming services specified in section
1 (1), chapter 718, Oregon Laws 2005, as modified by Emergency
Board action, is reduced by $50,000.
(2) The General Fund appropriation for the Office of Emergency
Management, State Fire Marshal and criminal justice services
specified in section 1 (5), chapter 718, Oregon Laws 2005, as
modified by Emergency Board action, is reduced by $636,000.
(3) The limitation on expenditures from fees, moneys or other
revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery
funds and federal funds for the Office of Emergency Management,
State Fire Marshal and criminal justice services, established by
section 2 (5), chapter 718, Oregon Laws 2005, as modified by
Emergency Board action, is increased by $988,300. + }
SECTION 6. { + This 2007 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2007 Act takes effect on its
passage. + }
