                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO

  Delete line 20 of the printed joint memorial and insert 'in
families of modest means; and
  ' Whereas the State of Oregon is now permitted to carry forward
to future fiscal years unexpended federal funds that it receives
for the Oregon State Children's Health Insurance Program; now,
therefore,'.
  After line 24, insert:
  ' (2) The Congress of the United States is respectfully urged
to reauthorize the Oregon State Children's Health Insurance
Program in a manner that will permit the State of Oregon to
continue to carry forward to future fiscal years unexpended
federal funds that it receives for the Oregon State Children's
Health Insurance Program.'.
  In line 25, delete '(2)' and insert '(3)'.
