Chapter 99 Oregon Laws 2009

AN ACT

Relating to regulation of activities in the state highway rights of way.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. Sections 2 and 3 of this 2009 Act are added to and made a part of ORS chapter 366.

SECTION 2. The Oregon Transportation Commission may adopt rules governing health and safety in roadside rest areas and scenic overlooks under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation.

SECTION 3. Subject to ORS 153.022, a person who violates any rule adopted by the Oregon Transportation Commission governing health and safety in roadside rest areas or scenic overlooks commits a Class B violation.
