Chapter 680 Oregon Laws 2009
AN ACT
HB 5033
Relating to financial administration of the State Parks and Recreation Department; limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal funds, collected or received by the State Parks and Recreation Department, for the following purposes:
(1) Administration $ 4,533,649
(2) Heritage Programs $ 480,976
(3) Grant programs $ 14,964,138
(4) Operations/Recreation
Programs $ 60,931,475
(5) Facility repair and
maintenance $ 3,116,336
(6) Oregon State Fair operations $ 12,594,839
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from lottery moneys allocated from the Parks and Natural Resources Fund to the State Parks and Recreation Department for the following purposes:
(1) Administration $ 21,829,045
(2) Heritage Programs $ 3,230,027
(3) Grant programs $ 6,991,271
(4) Land acquisition $ 4,200,000
(5) Operations/Recreation
Programs $ 27,144,925
(6) Facility repair and
maintenance $ 20,303,490
(7) Oregon State Fair operations $ 3,608,905
(8) Oregon State Fair debt
service $ 4,093,009
SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from federal funds collected or received by the State Parks and Recreation Department for the following purposes:
(1) Heritage Programs $ 1,561,158
(2) Grant programs $ 5,199,153
(3) Land acquisition $ 2,000,000
(4) Operations $ 1,978,196
(5) Facility repair and
maintenance $ 4,148,722
SECTION 4. This 2009 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2009 Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
