Chapter 734 Oregon Laws 2009
AN ACT
SB 5536
Relating to financial administration of the Oregon Military Department; appropriating money; limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. There are appropriated to the Oregon Military Department, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, out of the General Fund, the following amounts for the following purposes:
(1) Administration................................ $ 4,687,043
(2) Operations....................................... $ 11,382,099
(3) Community Support...................... $ 834,145
(4) Capital Debt Service and
Related Costs.................................. $ 5,533,055
(5) Emergency Management............... $ 2,337,350
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts and reimbursements from federal service agreements, but excluding lottery funds and federal funds not described in this section, collected or received by the Oregon Military Department for the following purposes:
(1) Administration................................ $ 2,537,940
(2) Operations....................................... $ 3,958,377
(3) Community Support...................... $ 2,495,124
(4) Capital Debt Service and
Related Costs.................................. $ 106,885
(5) Emergency Management............... $ 81,937,149
SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses from federal funds, other than those described in section 2 of this 2009 Act, collected or received by the Oregon Military Department for the following purposes:
(1) Operations....................................... $ 85,329,197
(2) Community Support...................... $ 5,666,446
(3) Emergency Management............... $ 162,598,280
(4) Capital Improvement..................... $ 1,226,250
SECTION 4. This 2009 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2009 Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
