                             AN ACT
 
 
Relating to Public Charter School Development Fund; creating new
  provisions; repealing ORS 338.175; and declaring an emergency.
 
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
 
  SECTION 1.  { + The Public Charter School Development Fund is
abolished. All moneys remaining in the fund on July 1, 2009,
shall be transferred to the Department of Education Account
established by ORS 326.115 to be used for public charter
schools. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + ORS 338.175 is repealed. + }
  SECTION 3.  { + This 2009 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2009 Act takes effect July 1,
2009. + }
