                             SUMMARY

  Requires Department of Human Services to review statutory laws
governing programs administered by department and identify
changes needed to reflect budget changes. Directs department to
report changes to Legislative Assembly.
  Declares emergency, effective on passage.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to Department of Human Services program changes caused
  by budget reductions; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + The Department of Human Services shall review
the statutory laws governing programs administered by the
department and shall determine needed changes to those laws to
reflect budget changes. The department shall report its findings
to the Legislative Assembly. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + This 2009 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2009 Act takes effect on its
passage. + }
