  Allows commodity commission to establish per diem payment to
members that exceeds payment amount otherwise allowed.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to commodity commissions; amending ORS 576.265.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1. ORS 576.265 is amended to read:
  576.265.  { + (1) A commodity commission may adopt rules
establishing the amount of payment that a member of the
commission receives under ORS 292.495 (1) for each day or portion
of a day during which the member is actually engaged in the
performance of official duties. The amount may exceed, but not be
less than, the amount of payment that would otherwise be provided
under ORS 292.495 (1).
  (2) + } Members, officers and employees of a commodity
commission shall receive their actual and necessary travel and
other expenses incurred in the performance of their official
duties.  { + Subject to any limitations described under ORS
292.495 (2), + } the commission shall adopt uniform and
reasonable   { - regulations - }  { +  rules + } governing the
incurring and paying of such expenses.
