  Delete lines 4 through 10 of the printed bill and insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 1. + }  { + (1) The State Department of Fish
and Wildlife shall conduct a feasibility study regarding the
development of a zone to improve fish habitat:
  ' (a) Between the Upper Bennett Dam and the confluence of
Gardner Ditch with the main stem of the North Santiam River; and
  ' (b) Between the Lower Bennett Dam and the confluence of
Gardner Ditch with the main stem of the North Santiam River.
  ' (2) In conducting the study, the department shall consult
with other state agencies having a common interest in fish
habitat improvement, the Santiam Water Control District, the City
of Stayton and the City of Salem.
  ' (3) The department shall report the results of the study to
the Seventy-sixth Legislative Assembly not later than February 1,
2011. + } ' .
