  Directs State Department of Fish and Wildlife to conduct
feasibility study regarding development of zone to improve fish
habitat between Lower Bennett Dam and Gardner Ditch on North
Santiam River.

                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to North Santiam River.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + (1) The State Department of Fish and Wildlife
shall conduct a feasibility study regarding the development of a
zone to improve fish habitat between the Lower Bennett Dam and
Gardner Ditch on the North Santiam River.
  (2) In conducting the study, the department shall consult with
other state agencies having a common interest in fish habitat
improvement.
  (3) The department shall report the results of the study to the
Seventy-sixth Legislative Assembly not later than February 1,
2011. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + Section 1 of this 2009 Act is repealed on
January 2, 2012. + }
