  Appropriates moneys to Oregon Student Assistance Commission for
rural health loan repayment program.
  Declares emergency, effective July 1, 2009.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to state financial administration; appropriating money;
  and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + In addition to and not in lieu of any other
appropriation, there is appropriated to the Oregon Student
Assistance Commission, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009,
out of the General Fund, the amount of $3 million, which may be
expended for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of ORS
442.550 to 442.570. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + This 2009 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2009 Act takes effect July 1,
2009. + }
