  In line 2 of the printed bill, after 'engines' delete the rest
of the line and insert a period.
  Delete lines 4 through 15 and insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 1. + }  { + Section 2 of this 2009 Act is added
to and made a part of ORS 468A.795 to 468A.803. + }
  '  { +  SECTION 2. + }  { +  All school buses with diesel
engines operated in Oregon must be:
  ' (1) Retrofitted with 2007 equivalent engines and 2007 fine
particulate matter capture technology by January 1, 2017; or
  ' (2) Replaced with school buses manufactured on or after
January 1, 2007, by January 1, 2025. A school bus replaced under
this subsection may not be used for transportation of any
type. + } ' .
