Directs Department of Human Services and Department of
Education to develop strategic plan to improve transition from
high school to adult living for persons with autism spectrum
disorder.
Sunsets January 2, 2012.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to autism spectrum disorder.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + (1) The Department of Human Services and the
Department of Education shall cooperate to develop a strategic
plan to improve the transition from high school to adult living
for persons with autism spectrum disorder.
(2) The Department of Human Services and the Department of
Education shall report on the progress of the plan to the
appropriate interim committees of the Legislative Assembly by
December 31, 2009.
(3) The Department of Human Services and the Department of
Education shall report on the final plan to the Seventy-sixth
Legislative Assembly as provided in ORS 192.245 by July 1,
2011. + }
SECTION 2. { + Section 1 of this 2009 Act is repealed on
January 2, 2012. + }
