  On page 3 of the printed bill, line 4, after 'veteran ' insert
', a disabled servicemember'.
  In line 5, after the first 'servicemember' insert 'in active
service' and delete 'or a servicemember' and insert ', disabled
servicemember or servicemember in active service'.
  In line 6, after 'paragraph' insert a colon and delete the rest
of the line and line 7 and insert:
  ' (A) 'Disabled veteran' has the meaning given that term in ORS
408.225.
  ' (B) 'Disabled servicemember' means a servicemember, as
defined in 50 U.S.C. App. 511 as in effect on the effective date
of this 2009 Act, who may be entitled to disability compensation
under laws administered by the United States Department of
Veterans Affairs.
  ' (C) 'Servicemember in active service' means:
  ' (i) A servicemember called into active service under Title 10
or Title 32 of the United States Code as in effect on the
effective date of this 2009 Act; or
  ' (ii) A servicemember on active state duty, as defined in ORS
398.002'.
  In line 8, delete the boldfaced material.
  On page 5, line 10, after 'veteran' insert ', a disabled
servicemember'.
  In line 11, after the first 'servicemember' insert 'in active
service' and delete 'or a servicemember' and insert ', disabled
servicemember or servicemember in active service'.
  In line 12, after 'paragraph' insert a colon and delete the
rest of the line and line 13 and insert:
