  Directs Department of Transportation to use one-half of one
percent of federal funds department receives for on-the-job
training.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to transportation workforce development.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + (1) Of the federal funds received by the
Department of Transportation, the department shall expend
one-half of one percent for on-the-job training programs related
to highway construction.
  (2) The department shall submit a report to the Legislative
Assembly no later than February 1 of each odd-numbered year. The
report shall contain:
  (a) An analysis of the results of the department's on-the-job
training programs; and
  (b) A description of the amount available to the department
from federal funds for training and the amount expended by the
department for training. + }
