AN ACT
Relating to financial administration of the Criminal Fine and
Assessment Account; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + Notwithstanding ORS 137.300, for the biennium
beginning July 1, 2009, the Department of Revenue shall
distribute the moneys in the Criminal Fine and Assessment
Account, reduced by the amount reported by the Department of
Justice to the Department of Revenue under ORS 137.300 (6) as
specified in sections 3 to 5 of this 2009 Act. + }
SECTION 2. { + The allocation of the Criminal Fine and
Assessment Account made by this 2009 Act supersedes, replaces and
is in lieu of any allocation of such funds in prior years. + }
SECTION 3. { + There are allocated to the Department of Public
Safety Standards and Training for the biennium beginning July 1,
2009, from the Criminal Fine and Assessment Account the following
amounts for the following purposes: + }

SECTION 6. { + After distributing the amounts specified in
sections 3 to 5 of this 2009 Act, the Department of Revenue shall
distribute funds remaining in the Criminal Fine and Assessment
Account to the General Fund. + }
SECTION 7. { + This 2009 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and
emergency is declared to exist, and this 2009 Act takes effect
July 1, 2009. + }
