  Declares 'No Place Under the Sun Like Oregon' to be state song.
Declares 'Oregon, My Oregon' to be historic state anthem.
 
                        JOINT RESOLUTION
  Whereas Oregonians take great pride in this state and find many
creative means to express that pride and celebrate this state;
and
  Whereas Lindy Gravelle from Redmond, Oregon, has chosen to
celebrate Oregon by composing lyrics and music to a song she has
entitled 'No Place Under the Sun Like Oregon'; and
  Whereas 'Oregon, My Oregon' has been the state song since its
acceptance and adoption in Senate Joint Resolution 3 (1927); now,
therefore,
Be It Resolved by the Legislative Assembly of the State of
  Oregon:
  That 'No Place Under the Sun Like Oregon' is declared to be the
state song of Oregon; and be it further
  Resolved, That 'Oregon, My Oregon' is declared to be the
historic state anthem of Oregon.
