Directs Department of Transportation to provide receptacles at
roadside rest areas for recyclable materials.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to roadside rest areas.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + (1) The Department of Transportation shall
provide receptacles at each roadside rest area to collect
recyclable materials including, but not limited to, aluminum,
glass, paper and plastic and any other material at the discretion
of the department.
(2) The department may contract as necessary for the recycling
of products returned under subsection (1) of this section. + }
