  On page 11 of the printed B-engrossed bill, line 2, delete '
13' and insert '17'.
  After line 13, insert:
  ' (J) One member who is a board member of a public charter
school that offers online instruction.
  ' (K) One member who is an administrator of a public charter
school that offers online instruction.
  ' (L) One member who represents the State Board of Education.
  ' (M) One member who is a superintendent of a school district
that does not sponsor a public charter school that offers online
instruction but that has been impacted by public charter schools
that offer online instruction.'.
  On page 12, line 42, after '17.' insert '(1)'.
  In line 44, delete '(1)' and insert '(a)'.
  On page 13, line 1, delete '(a)' and insert '(A)'.
  In line 3, delete '(b)' and insert '(B)'.
  In line 5, delete '(2)' and insert '(b)'.
  In line 10, delete '(a)' and insert '(A)'.
  In line 15, delete '(b)' and insert '(B)'.
  In line 18, delete '(3)' and insert '(c)'.

  After line 25, insert:
  ' (2)(a) Notwithstanding section 13c of this 2009 Act:
  ' (A) A public charter school that was not in compliance with
ORS 338.125 (2)(b) for the school year prior to the effective
date of this 2009 Act may continue to operate;
  ' (B) The charter of a public charter school that was not in
compliance with ORS 338.125 (2)(b) for the school year prior to
the effective date of this 2009 Act is not subject to termination
under ORS 338.105 (1)(c) for failure to comply with ORS 338.125
(2)(b); and
  ' (C) A student who was enrolled on May 1, 2009, in a public
charter school that did not comply with the requirements of ORS
338.125 (2)(b) may continue to be enrolled in the public charter
school.
  ' (b) The provisions of this subsection apply only for the
purposes of students enrolled in a public charter school on May
1, 2009.'.
