                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO
                         SENATE BILL 914

  After line 9 of the printed bill, insert:
  ' (b) 'Medical assistance' has the meaning given that term in
ORS 414.025.'.
  In line 10, delete '(b)' and insert '(c)'.
  In line 12, after 'shall' delete the rest of the line and
delete lines 13 through 16 and insert 'contract with a community
health center or safety net clinic for the provision of covered
services by the center or clinic to an enrollee of the
organization who is a recipient of medical assistance if the
center or clinic providers are credentialed by the organization
and agree to contractual terms, conditions and reimbursement
rates similar to those negotiated by the organization with
subcontractors providing the same or similar services.
  ' (3) The Department of Human Services shall adopt standards by
rule for the contracts entered into between centers or clinics
and organizations under this section.'.
