AN ACT

SB 782

Relating to eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. When a defendant is committed to the supervisory authority of the county pursuant to ORS 137.124, the supervisory authority shall forward the name, date of birth and Social Security number of the defendant to the Director of the Employment Department for purposes of making a determination of eligibility under ORS 657.155.

SECTION 2. This 2011 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2011 Act takes effect on its passage.
