AN ACT
SB 5534
Relating to
the financial administration of the State Parks and Recreation Department;
limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any
other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the
biennium beginning July 1, 2011, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses
from fees, moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but
excluding lottery funds and federal funds, collected or received by the State
Parks and Recreation Department, for the following purposes:
(1) Director’s
office $ 2,222,001
(2) Central
services $ 14,176,195
(3) Park
development $ 5,902,985
(4) Direct
services $ 52,070,910
(5) Community
support and grants $ 13,292,287
(6) Oregon
Exposition Center $ 11,593,616
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any
other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the
biennium beginning July 1, 2011, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses
from lottery moneys allocated from the Parks and Natural Resources Fund to the
State Parks and Recreation Department, of which the department may expend up to
54 percent during the period beginning July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2012,
for the following purposes:
(1) Director’s
office $ 1,445,191
(2) Central
services $ 9,124,420
(3) Park
development $ 20,288,865
(4) Direct
services $ 28,228,272
(5) Community
support and grants $ 13,059,498
(6) Oregon
exposition center $ 3,440,208
(7) Central
services debt service $ 4,261,181
SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any
other law limiting expenditures, the following amounts are established for the
biennium beginning July 1, 2011, as the maximum limits for payment of expenses
from federal funds collected or received by the State Parks and Recreation
Department for the following purposes:
(1) Park
development $ 2,406,870
(2) Direct
services $ 1,918,952
(3) Community
support and grants $ 8,295,114
SECTION 4. This 2011 Act being
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2011 Act takes effect July
1, 2011.
