Allows person to take gray wolf in certain situations without
cause and without permit from State Fish and Wildlife Commission.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to wolves.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + Section 2 of this 2011 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS chapter 498. + }
SECTION 2. { + (1) A person may take a gray wolf without cause
and without a permit from the State Fish and Wildlife Commission
if the gray wolf is within 500 feet of the residence of the
person.
(2) A person may take a gray wolf without a permit from the
commission if the gray wolf is chasing, harassing, wounding or
biting livestock, pets, working dogs or sporting dogs. + }
