SENATE RESOLUTION
Whereas the state of Oregon faces an increasing shortage of

Whereas Western University of Health Sciences and Samaritan

the Pacific Northwest (COMP-Northwest); and
Whereas COMP-Northwest will welcome its inaugural class on July
30, 2011, with an initial enrollment of 100 students; and
Whereas COMP-Northwest will eventually enroll 400 students, and
its first class will graduate in 2015; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Oregon:
That we, the members of the Senate of the Seventy-sixth

Medicine of the Pacific Northwest, thank the founders for their
commitment to the people of Oregon and wish the college success
