Relating to State Board of Higher Education.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. Section 2 of this 1999 Act is added to and made a part of ORS 351.075 to 351.260.

SECTION 2. Notwithstanding ORS 183.310 to 183.550, the State Board of Higher Education or any state institution of higher education under the jurisdiction of the board may, by rule, establish adjudicative procedures that are consistent with federal and state constitutional requirements and other provisions of law. The adjudicative procedures shall be consistent with ORS 183.413 to 183.497 and 183.502 whenever the type of hearing or procedure required is substantially of the character that would necessitate the procedures required by ORS 183.415, 183.425, 183.450, 183.460 or 183.470.
